Eric Simpson - Founder & Portfolio Manager
Eric is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Caretta Capital Management, with over 15 years of experience across financial and commodities markets. Prior to founding Caretta, Eric traded physical and financial energy markets, managing portfolios for wholesale and downstream energy companies. He began his career at RBC and Credit Suisse, where he underwrote credit products and supported trading operations across derivative portfolios, developing a strong foundation in both market execution and risk oversight.
Eric is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a Principal and is an Associated Person and Associate Member of the National Futures Association (NFA) through Caretta Capital Management.
He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife and their two children.
